Nana Teny Fori Kwsgyan Acheampong III, Chief of Besoro and double as Apesemakahene of Sekyere Kumawu Traditional Area in the Ashanti Region of Ghana has donated Information and Communications Technology (ICT) items worth amount of billions of cedis to support their computer skills.
The beneficiary schools included Besoro DA1 JHS, Besoro DA2 JHS, Besoro Methodist JHS, Besoro DA1 primary, Besoro DA2 primary, Besoro Methodist primary, Aninangya Methodist JHS, Aninangya Methodist primary, Woraso DA JHS, Woraso Presby JHS, Atwidie DA JHS all in the Sekyere Kumawu district in the Ashanti Region.
Nana Teny Fori Kwsgyan Acheampong III, present this computers to his community just to encourage them in their academic performance in computer science skills.
Items donated to the schools included One Hundred(100) desktop, Twenty-four(24) laptop and accessories.
In an interview with Nana Teng Fori Kwsgyan Acheampong III after the donation, he revealed that, it is his dream to help his communities before he became a Chief of Besoro traditional cancel.
Nana further advised the teachers by making good used of it and at the same time his computers are not their property but rather the property of the school. He also encourage the students to take their leason serious especially computer science period.
