The National President of Muslim Mission Secretariat, Sheik Hanun Almad Apaw, has passionately appealed to the Government led by Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, the Ministry of Education led by Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and other authorities to make Arabic language compulsory in the basic schools as is been done with French language.
According to him, Government should allow students who will study Arabic language to write an exams on it on every final year examination
Over one thousand five hundred(1,500) Islamic schools across the country are said to not have been allowed to write Arabic test their final years which has been deemed inappropriate by Muslims in the country.
